This Unguided BreathGnosis meditation begins breathing with a 4-second inhalation and a 4-second exhalation. Every three breath cycles, we slow down the breath by 1-second and eventually find ourselves breathing at 3 breaths-per-minute or a 10-second inhalation followed by a 10-second exhalation.

This breathwork pattern helps switch the body from the sympathetic mode of engagement (fight/flight) to the parasympathetic mode (rest/digest). More importantly, once you have reached 3 BPM you’ll notice how your mind sinks deeper into liminal space or deep meditative spaces within the mind.

This meditation is designed for you to purge all invasive thoughts, find mental clarity, and completely allow yourself to experience the subtle power of the breath. Sometimes you just need a bit of “you” time and this meditation aims to provide just that!
